My 2 plus year old boy had a 1.5cm cut on his big toe when he tried to open the door as we are leaving the cell group place at Yvonne and Victor's house. Flap of skin came out and blood was oozing out of the wounds. He didn't cry but only complained that it's painful. Joseph washed his wounds immediately and still he didn't cry. Yvonne quickly put a plaster over the wound and he was very calm throughout. We were so amazed at his bravery! What a courageous boy! Mummy is so proud of you.
He kept unusually quiet in the car when Jo drove us home. Only to jump up when he heard the word "Mac Donald" when a member mentioned this in the car. Mac Donald sure have a irresistible charm for all young kiddos! ~ haha.
My boy also said something quite amazing recently. We often prayed in the car and he will started asking us to pray for him, followed by mummy, daddy, his grandmother, grandfather, pet dog and so on and so forth. Now he would say " Ki la ba ba", imitating us praying in tongues. It was so funny! But we tried not to laugh so as not to discourage him from "praying in the spirit".
Jayden likes to watch Transformer and it was quite amazing that he knows the names " bumber bee,autobots, optimus prime and even decepticon". He call the male lead actor as " kor kor" and lead actress as "jie jie". He asked me one day " Jie Jie is very pretty, can i bring home?" I was speechless. Another time " Jie Jie and Kor Kor Kor kissed mouth, can i kiss your mouth?" Joseph and I took pain to explain to him "Only Jie Jie and Kor Kor can, Mummy and son cannot, daddy and son cannot." Oh my gosh, don't know if he understands. We are just afraid we might received calls from the child care that he kissed girls in class! lol!
I must says that this boy brings much joy into our lives! What a gift and blessing from God!
